Our Story
Amidst the height of the pandemic – when even playgrounds were closed – ROAM owners Graig and Nia were in need of indoor play solutions for their very active twin toddlers. Unable to find products made in the USA that met their needs for quality and versatility, they decided to create their own – drawing on Graig’s passion for woodworking and Nia’s eye for design. What began as a labor of love for their own family has now grown to a business providing climbers and furniture to thousands of families nationwide.

Our Community Contributions
As a small business, ROAM takes pride in its commitment to community – both locally in San Diego, as well as the community of families we’ve built nationwide. ROAM is grateful to have contributed to the following organizations recently:
San Diego State University Children’s Center, NFAR Race for Autism, Black Fairy GodMother, Mississippi Food Network
Our Ethical Manufacturing
ROAM is proud to take the path less traveled by self-manufacturing all products in the United States, with a small team of craftsmen who are compensated fairly. Whenever possible, ROAM works with local suppliers and contractors. Materials are chosen with safety and sustainability in mind.
